Theres been some talk about Halloween lately (mostly ads)
Are any holidays in the U.S. celebrated elsewhere?
Maybe in the U.S. that we may not have heard of?
Or, what strange/interesting/social holiday do you celebrate...(festivals count)

Puerto Rico celebrates U.S. holidays because we are U.S. territory.

most of the common US holidays occur in other countries too. I am in the philippines and there's halloween sales going on already in the all. but some not-so common holidays like labour day is a holiday for you but not for us.

Damn, are really a Filipino? Or do you actually live here in the Philippines?
Just because May 1 is in the summer and doesn't have actual classes doesn't mean its not a holiday in this country.

Hope KMU-Party List finds you and have a talk with you.

A few Americanized Australian families celebrate Halloween, but, since no one else does the trick-or-treating does not go well.

Point of advice, go to Mendiola on May 1 & have fun :p

Just don't let the riot police whack you in the head on the way home :p

My Birthday falls on a very "bloody" festival, each year people suffer bruises & in extreme cases there are cases of death from getting trampled on or heat exhaustion from the thick crowd.

Thats part of the fun Cahos! You don't go to San Juan in their feast day to stay dry, right? Thats the same with May 1. Also, its a way of getting a bit of exercise for the police. lol

Thats Feast day of the Nazareno right? Thats one of the thing we have in simple common.

That festival is not even near as exuberant & as perverted as Mardi Gras is my friend.

Also, I never miss the annual Oblation Run at my Uni :)
