Crystal Chronicles - EoT (U) on FireCard -Save problem

I'm sure this problem has been addressed ad nausium, but I have what I believe is a unique situation. (Meaning I searched google and romulation before asking.)

I'm using a FireCard (Firelink) which is basically a N-Card clone.
I'd like to play the US version of Echoes of Time, but I get that "cannot save" screen when trying to save.

I don't know how to apply cheats with this card, so that action replay work around doesn't seem plausible.

I remember I did SOMETHING to play the European version on FireCard, but can' remember what it is.

Can anyone help me out?

 

That rom can be patched for the save problem, But i down't know about the card you are using and if it will work on it

Try looking for a patched rom on the web, at rapidshare or megaupload mabe

Place it in a txt format and use with dsatm tool and rom

Dose it not use a usrcheat.dat that card?

 

I'm 99% sure there is no native cheat implementation on this card.
I could be wrong though.

Just takeout the usrcheat.dat from ttmenu folder and replace, Most cards do have a cheat format of some type?

 

I got it working on the european version by using DSATM.

I used to use a Firecard, there is no cheat system at all afaik and low compatibility. I eventually ditched it for a Cyclo.
