Crono Trigger is playing up!

I've just downloaded Crono Trigger for NDS and i'm playing it on no$gba 2.6a. It works untill you go into the portal to follow the girl. Then it just stays on the shot of the portal and doesn't do anything. Can somebody help me make this work?

 

there's an anti-piracy in it download a cheat from GBAtemp.net
I don't know if there's an anti-piracy on it haven't tried paying attention

 

How do I use the cheat codes to get rid of the copy protection?

I'm using an emulator no$gba 2.6a

 

hmmm. I'm not used to emulators
but I think you have to put the data somewhere in the emulator's folder
for now just look for something in the technical help just so you can find something that might be helpful

 

try patching it if there is a patch.
usaully when theres piracy protection for games they make a patch first then the action replay codes come later on
the patch should be on gbatemp as well

 

So if I put those action replay codes in it would work?

This is where the solution is supposed to be but i've used the patch from the website directed here and the rom just crashes. It's also for people that are using R4 cards etc. and i'm using a rom so it is no help to me.

I've downloaded it and when I put it in the emulator all I get is two white screens???
