Starting with, but not limited to creative writing. Short stories and the like. I have many pieces i would like to share with this community and i'm sure others would too ^_^. Of course in your eyes it may be another dead ender that a 9 year old came up with. If that is the case then ignore me and be done with it.

Maybe you can put them in General Discussion?

If we have enough people interested it could be considered, but I have doubts that there would be that many people interested. =/

People are free to prove me wrong on this one though if they want to.

    Re: A Creative writing section?

    I've had some poetic thoughts...

But sadly mine alone cannot help
And mine are as bad as kelp
There may be one or 2 that can post
But non of us currently are to boast
    Does this count
    Or should I dis-mount?

    ...

Another random poem-but still....prehaps just a thread is all we need-I thought I saw one along time ago, but it's sucnk down like all the other good topics..

An empty section is no good, if people express interest in a section for creatives then we'll try it out, but it has to be more than just a few people.

    Re: A Creative writing section?

Exactly how would you determine the amount of people who were interested?

It is a combination of complex math and statistical analysis, all performed by the brain.

Couldn't there be a testing ground, say like in the Random section and make it a sticky see how it goes, if it fails then pull it, if it seems to gain interest then create a new section for it, oh and shoot anyone who spams/flames it.

    Like I said...a topic.

Nhi_po started having random thoughts and..they came out almost poetic...

I'm too lazy to find it-but it got spammed...to death-it was moved from general discussion to forum games jokes and random-to where the last 20 psot came...

    Sometimes I sit and wonder
    About stuff I dont know
Like what the heck the earth was like
    A hundred years ago.

    Did cavemen ride on dinosaurs?
    Did flowers even grow?
Well we could guess but that was back
    A hundred years ago.

I wish they built a time machine
And they picked me to go
To check out the what the scene was like
    A hundred years ago.

Did giant spiders rule the earth?
    Were deserts filled with snow?
I wonder what the story was
    A hundred years ago.

    i love literature!
i have lots and lots of stories written in notebooks and such.

a section of literatures only would be great (IMO)

No, surveys don't work, it's called a gut feeling.
