you need to be a confident programmer in C/C++ to start with.

    or...

Download RPGMaker XP, 2k3 or VX. XP is the newest one... you'll only be able to make RPG's and they're only playable on PC, but it's better than nothing.

The only problem with those is that you'll never ever finish a game...

Technically, that's a provided homebrew with a GUI for custom scripts you can modify, to be used within it's engine.

How about DS game maker? Just gamemaker but then with DS commands like 'follow stylus'.

And @nex26, VX is the newest RPG Maker, but XP is the best-looking.

Yes and yes. It is a GUI frontend wrapped for PAlib which automatically codes in functions as you select them from a menu.

Study up on Algebra I, II, III, Collage Algebra, and Calculus, the go to ECPI for 1.5~2 Years studing "Video Game and Simulation Programing"

I visited ECPI in VA Beach last week during my 1st Vacation and man, I FREAKED when I saw the math skills needed to do this S*$&%!

I blame the Pittslvanya County School Systems for PHAILING at teaching Algebra and Geometry.
Well...the advantage of this is, you can make your own programing language and not need references and crap. But MAN I NEED TO STUDY UP ON MY ALGEBRA and GEMOMETRY even though I am out of School.

But yea, taylorplain, study up on you mathz and then take a course in programing, or spend OVER NINE-THOUSAAAND hours on GOOGLE searching "C++ How To" and "C++ Refference" to get nothing but online bookstores with books such as "C++ for Dummies 'A refference for the rest of us'" and so on.

well with Game Maker you can't make games for a actual console but you can mod your wii remote and use a DLL and simulate a wii like a emulator almost and play the games on your PC with the wii gear so that's what a WII console is almost so what's the difference? by the way the DLL is GIIMOTE you can get it here yoyogames.gmc.com also you migth want to check this site out www.yoyogames.com
