When I got my laptop, it wouldn't exit sleep mode correctly. Whenever I try to wake it up, it sends out an ear-raping series of beeps. And I mean EAR RAPING. It's so loud my neighbors thought it was our fire alarm (which is not even as loud as my computer). And this only happens on Windows. On Linux, it wakes up normally. It's normally not a big deal, but I don't use hibernating (which works fine), and I need to sleep my laptop when I'm at school. Is it fixable?
hmmm...i always encountered this issue with Windows XP without any service packs installed, and on Vista cuz it's just shit...i you're using windows 7, you shouldn't have any problem with it
