Crash Team Racing - Invisible racers in arcade mode?

    I am using the ROM from this site and the latest epsxe and when I play two player arcade cup with a friend on the same keyboard, for some reason I cannot see any other racers on the screen, and the times I do see other racers they are literally one cart length away from me. It is annoying when boxes just pop in front of you because a racer you cannot see got it. I do not have this problem on adventure mode, I'm actually not sure whether or not I have this problem on single player arcade mode.

    are your graphics on fast?

    Oh snaps haha, I messed with my video settings and it works perfectly fine now. I just put my settings on high/nice and I see other carts now, though at times they look 2-D pixelated like they just popped out of a GBA but I'm sure some more ePSXe video tweaking will fix it. Thanks a bunch!
