Ya, it doesn't save correctly anymore. I noticed that a little while ago. It changed during the site update. Used to save your sorting settings.
It saves on a session basis, that means if you close your browser it will reset. Also release id, descending is standard, it shouldn't start at anything else. The RSS feeds were updated like 8 months ago, latest.xml hasn't worked since then, you should get the newest feed from your home.
It only says Alphabetically, Ascending because that's the first selections in the menu. It's really sorted by Release, Descending. If you click Sort you'll notice the order changes. It does default to Release, Descending.
