Could someone explain this to me?

alright when my friend got a pokemon soulsilver(not rom but obtained by buying)
he tradeds eggs or something and he got a bad egg that hatched into a lv.100 elekid or something and now he can walk through walls
can some explain how?
(btw he can walk through walls without AR nor did he use it before)

Come to think of it, Cheats do alter data. I don't think anyone would get a BadEgg from just trading eggs.

Unless the game corrupted the data, but then, why would it corrupt the save file so much that it enables other glithces?

Also, Bad Eggs don't hatch, At least, the wikipedia article says it. You're also quite naive[is that a proper word for this?] to not realise he's using cheats.

dude he wasnt using atcion replay at all when he was over at my house last(today)
he didnt have atcion reaplay with him yet he could walk through walls and as far as i know
he said he traded eggs and he got a badd egg and a level 100 elekid hatched from it

Well, he activated the cheat with his action replay and as for the Elekid, he just used an action-replay to do that too. That's the most likely scenario I can think of.

When they do hatch I heard they could wreck your game, and the best advice is to leave them in your storage box.

Was he using a flash cart or real game?

Flash carts have built in cheat functions, also if it was a real cart prehaps some cheats like the bad egg would be left behind.


Bad eggs happen when a non-legit pokemon is created, I had a traded Palkia come up as one when linked with pokemon battle revolution.

as far as i know i believe his brothers said their action replay is broken except the one they gave me put i dont have soulsilver cheats on mine

Are you 100% sure that your friend didn't cheat?
