Could somebody explain Xbox to me?

So im gonna get Xbox with Kinect soon, First off i reckon Kinect is kinda gimicky, Anyway what i wanted to be explained is the Wi-fi multiplayer, Does my Xbox have build in Wi-fi so it can pick up on my house's wi-fi? Its the newest there is

And when i go on it, I know its called Live, But do i HAVE to buy a Gold membership card or whatever?

 

if you buy the xbox slim. you wont need wifi adapter. and gold, you need to buy to play multiplayer online. you always get 1 month free with a new created account, so you can buy it after a month

 

What about a free silver membership?

 

silver membership is free. you can chat, download stuff (with microsoft points) but you wont be able to play online multiplayer

I mean like a code generator, When you buy an actual 12month Gold membership card it has a code on it, Just wondering if their is a generator on here somewhere so i dont have to buy it.

 

I just said no. Live is now those activating at the till cards like calling cards and stuff. There's not going to be a code generator that works and that isn't a virus.
