Servers are basically powerful computers, however they tend to use onboard graphics, which can't run anything much. Additionally, they generally use registered memory, which is slower and more expensive than normal ram, and is not really suitable for games.

yes, probably registered DDR SDRAM, as opposed to unbuffered, which is normal ram.

EDIT: Just checked, it IS registed DDR, and its PC2700, which is hard to find (I know because I have a computer that uses registered PC2700. Registered PC3200 is NOT backwards compatible)

Additionally, it does not have a hard disk, and it uses u320 SCSI. SCSI hard disks are limited to a maximum of 300GB and are disproportionately expensive for their capacity. (a 146GB drive will cost a couple of hundred dollars easily).

    Sorry dude, but it's a server...not suitable.

Get ethier a new pc or a powerful laptop, my laptop, sure it may just run resident evil 5, and is slow with dolphin emulation (3.2ghz, 1gb ram) but it can do it if required.

There is no such thing as an 'unlimited' hard disk.
