Corruption of .opt and .sav Files??

Downloaded 2 files today. Some how it corrupted all my .opt and .sav files. Had to reformat my SD chip as the system wouldn't recognize it. Reloaded the .nds, created new saved files and now it works.

Any thoughts on what happened??

 

Probably coincidence. You just happened to download those two files, and at the same time your SD card got corrupted.

 

wrong when u save the files into ur sd it somehow stopped and then corrupted happened to me earlier did the same.

 

How is what I said wrong?

It has nothing to do with the files specifically, it would have happened regardless of what files Freddy had downloaded.

Just for future reference, you should backup your save files from your MicroSD every couple days or when ever you do something in game that was really important.

Since what NdsGamingFreak said about the stop and corruption is true. If the MicroSD is disconnected from your computer while it is still being written to or read from, there is a chance data can be corrupted.
