corrupted ds files

hi i have some games on my ds that i now know are corrupted, i was meaning to save them but when i plugged in the sd dongle it gave me the option of scan and fix so i did ,and now all im left with is a blank square where the games folder should be
it did say that there will be a folder with the corrupted games in it called found but i cant find it anywhere, also i was wondering what program do you use to view ds games as when i click open on the games square it lists loads of programs but i havnt a clue what program is used to view ds files

It sounds like your card is pretty corrupted, you will probably need to just format it, and take the losses as a lesson to backup your files often. As far as viewing NDS files, you can't really... you could try opening them with an NDS emulator like No$GBA.


Also, for future reference, you might want to try using some punctuation, it makes your posts much clearer.

im just running a program called recover my files and its found 255 files i have a 4gb card
im hoping to find at least some of the games

 

The file extention of a nds game end's with .nds , if you are looking on the recovery program for them

Its easer to format and just redownload the games you lost, Keep them backup on your hard drive in ther .rar file

Click right on letter drive it is using and see format

 

on recover my files it doesnt give the the option of nds file.
you know where you click what files you want it to look for the name of nds file isnt there
or is there a better program for recovery, also its a 4gb and she had 50 games on it plus videos and music so even when i take white square off which is apparently where the games are, it still only let me put on about 10 games also ive tried opening the file with winrar archiver and it says either the file is in a diffrent format, or corrupted
the games are there but how to get them back from file format?

im not gonna give up without at least trying there has to be some sort of way to get them back out of the file format

 

I don't think it would be legal for them to add a .nds extention to there list, If the file is unknown is should find it anyway

Just look out for any files that end with .nds , dot nds

Games are packed in a winrar file when you download them of the web, you can also use a good download manger to stop file corruption http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

Don't use the scan and fix, that may have bean the cause of the problem

Have a look on google for a good recovery program

You could try that recuva abouth ^, Try overs on a all files on a deep scan, see if that helps

Copy the recoverd games to you hard drive that you need

But you sdcard is corupted is it not..., You might need to redownload the firmware from the card website, N5 was it ?

2. format your microSD chip

3. replace the firmware files onto the root of your microSD exsample F:\ = root , depending on the letter drive your microSD chip is using

4. replace recoverd games from your hard drive back onto your microSD, You could make a new folder to place then into

talking about this i downloaded age of empires mythologies and it keeps saying my save is corrupted is this a proplem i need a fix for or the real deal

 

It could be it did not save proper, are the game was patched with a bad arm7 , arm9 file

You could try a clean rom, clean roms should be are even in size , 8mb 16mb 32mb 64mb 128mb 256mb

If they are blow that size it they are patched , unless manuly patched with a hex-edtor
