corrupt files

kinda new to this- a few files i have downloaded(using vista) when i go to extract here- say file corrupted- i have tried using us and europe servers but to no avail. some games in particular- pimp my ride and lego batles. What causes a file to be corrupt? is there anything i can do to fix this?

 

Did you using a download accelerator?
Which browser did you use?

 

internet explorer and as far as i know- no accelerator-dont know how i could use one without knowing what it is lol

download accelerators are not exactly the same as download managers, even though some have accelerating options...

 

The corruption is not because of RomUlation, I have downloaded and used both of the files you mention. It is most likely that you have had an interruption in your connection while downloading, a download manager should fix this for you, Orbit is a popular choice. Also there is a possibility that your archive extraction software is poor. Personally I use 7zip http://www.7zip.com/

Orbit works better in Firefox than its default (IE)...
