Cop recruit two roms

Hey just a question. When you download the (U) version of COP: The Recruit, you get two roms. They are:

4417- COP the Recruit (U)(Uncracked).nds

AND

4417- COP the Recruit (U)(Suxxors).nds

How do you know which one to use?

 

The cracked version has the anti-piracy removed so you can play it on most flashcarts.

The other version is not cracked, and will not work on many flashcarts.

 

does the cracked version have any functionality removed from it?

Ex. I remember the cracked version of GTA Chinatown wars lost online play.

 

I don't believe so. The GTA crack was done with Arm7 patches, which also affects wifi. But this one is an antipiracy patch.

Is the cracked one and if your are using R4 original by any chance it will only work with kernal v1.18

 

No I'm using a TTDS.

Also, is is necessary to use a patched rom? Will a cheat come out soon that will allow you to play it without patching the rom?

Ex. To play the unpatched rom of GTA Chinatown, I just enable the Anti-piracy bypass cheat, and it works just fine.
