hello, no major tech problems to day , just looking for a nice laptop cooler(my laptop is nearing the meltdown range sometimes after gaming). im looking for something that will really cool(by around 10-20 C if possible) my laptop and thats around $30 and for 15.4in laptops. im thanking about going with this one but if theirs something better i'll take it.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834997420 Only a tinchy bit more expensive, but definitely better than the one you had in mind.
do you know if the air come's out of one place or dose it come out from the whole suffice?(can't telll by the picture) from the commets it dose seam to do a good amount of cooling.(i would love to get this down to 33c) thanks Fr0sty now for the hard part...getting the money
laptop not cooling down. for same reason today my laptop cpu and graphics just aint cooling down, even when im doing nothing it stays around 75-80c(cpu) 77-80c(graphics) when normally with a fan blowing on it, its in the 60s(cpu) 70s(graphics) i checked the processes and nothing is really taking up cpu power. could there be something wrong? also the laptop fan seams to be running constantly. Edit: it seams to have something to do with my laptop being pluged into the wall. plunged in cpu is 79c unpluged 65c, whats going on? its never been like this before
its running in performance mode rather than battery saver when its plugged in. Battery saver throttles the processor down to save battery, which also reduces the amount of heat it produces.
I had this problem a longer time ago. How long do you use the laptop now? My laptop was very dusty inside. I opened it and used a hoover to clean the fan. I do this every 2 month and never had problems with the temperature anymore.
i found out if i put the power plan on balanced when its plunged in it would cool down oh so when its not on power saver the cpu becomes more powerful? its my primary computer so it runs 24/7. i would open it up to see how dusty it is but i dont have the right screwdriver.
