I think this game is due for release on 20th June in the UK. Does anyone know if it will be on here?

Found it on here today, but it's corrupt.

Mostly likely your fault, not the ROM itself. If you're sure it downloaded it 100%, then it's corrupt.

It wouldn't unzip and the reason it gave me was the file is corrupt. Am trying it again now.

maybe these multiple topics should be merged. But now this game is interesting enough for me to download and try.

it's more of a cook book rather than a game....you HAVE to cook in real life as you follow his instructions....

Cooked one of the recipes on Saturday and it was rather nice (Keema Curry).

I have downloaded it in (E) and (U) and I can't get it to work on an R4 or TTDS.

It downloads fine, unzips fine, transfers to the TF fine, turn it on and it blocks.

    I am gutted.

I have tried all combinations with two DS's, an R4 and a TTDS.

All I want is some cool new recipies.

    please help....

what is your Micro SD (make, capacity etc????)

I have tried it on a pqi (2gb), and another cheap one with no brand (2gb).

I have a sandisk (1gb) I may try that out.

Update your firmware at http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ or backup and reformat.

Firmware is at its best so it's not that.

I think it's the cheap SD after having chatted to Seph.

I am going to test out the theory.

    OK, update time,

I learned a valid leson today..

"my old mac cube mucks something up with the file transfer"

I put everything on my PC, formated, recopied and hey presto. the cooking guide works.

maybe the formating that a mac does is not the same as a PC.

Anyway, it works (on a micro SD that cost 1€)

So the moral of the story is:

    * For rom transfers and formatting, use a PC.
    * Don't buy expensive SD cards, they are a ripoff.

Don't buy cheap ones, they often don't work with certain games.

Make sure to get Sandisk or Kingston brands.

not to mention cheap microsds fry easily

my pqi survived for like 6 months (all my sav files went kapoot yes I don't back up my saves) so buying a cheaper sd card royally screwed over my time investment in AW and other games i was playing at that time

my transcend survived for a year

bought a san disk and its been going strong for over a year

I suppose that you get what you pay for....

however after the formating that I did on the three cards I have (mine, gf's and daughters) I have backed everything up...

BTW, Carnival games works fine on a freshly formatted (on a PC not Mac) SD with the TTDS, but not with R4, and cooking guide works on both.

    Thanks for all the help.
