Hi, can someone kindly show me how to convert a epsxe save format (.mcr) to PC save format. I have the psxmemtool, but don't know how to use it. I'm trying to convert my epsxe FF7 save to PC format which i saw in my friend's laptop noted as (save00.ff7). Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks XD
You want to convert your ePSXe memory card file to a save format that will work with Final Fantasy 7 PC edition? Why exactly are you wanting to do this, couldn't you just continue playing it on ePSXe?
Yup, more or less like that...originally i started playing ff7 on PC edition..then my friend suddenly convert my PC edition format to epsxe format using that psxmemtool..although i can play it on epsxe emulator, i prefer to play it on PC edition because the sound and graphic looks better and it's kind of pain in the ass to setting up the epsxe to look like the PC edition..and since i can't reinstall the game to my PC because i've lost cd ages ago, i ask him to reconvert the format back to PC edition format..but, he failed.. :'( ..so, if you know any useful link to guide/tutorial to use psxmemtool or if you know a way to reconvert the save format please tell me..i appreciate it ;D
It appears that psxmemtool is the answer. I don't have a copy of it so I can't test it out or tell you how to do it (since I have never used it).
