Hi, I know there are probably loads of sites/programs that can convert avi to divx, but I was wondering if anyone had used one and know that the site/program they use is safe? Thanks.
From what I heard, avi is just a container file, it's the codec it was made with that matters...apparently some of my avi's have divx encoding. Post Merge: [time]1274970222[/time] I guess they might be safe, dunno about the quality later...
That's the best program that I have ever used to burn video files, but I never have had the need to convert them to another format unless I want to watch it on my PSP.
Just a dumb question, but why are you wanting to convert .avi to divx? most divx players will read .avi I have 1000s of avi files and they work just fine with my divx player.
It's not a dumb question at all. It's going to sound stupid but I just like having everything organized and the same. It looks out of sorts with the other files in the folder all being divx. Yeah, I know it's stupid.
Well as long as you have a good reason. I on the other hand love chaos so I don't care how they look as long as they do their job. Except for titles I hate garbage in titles and stickers I have a deep hatred for stickers...
