I wanted to know, truthfully, is it worth getting a NDS emulator in it's current state? I've seen videos that looked pretty glitchy. Is there any way someone could list a couple games that run perfectly or near-perfectly? I was also wondering how touch screen functionality is implemented.

touch screen is implemented using the mouse. Some games work better than others, and some dont work at all, but No$GBA can run some games pretty well, depending on your computer specs.

I have great specs on my comp, better than most, but I have a crappy graphics card that just so happens to be on the motherboard. (I can't replace it without killing the motherboard) It runs most emulators and regular PC games just fine, but I usually have to lower graphics quality a bit for the higher-end PC games.

Die in a fire, Toshiba. Let it consume you and your irritating laptop computer setup....

it may well struggle with NDS then. Integrated video tends to suck

I just downloaded pokemon diamond, opened up the file with no$gba, (I own the game) and tried it, but I just get an error screen. Wierd...
