Was just wondering guys, what do you guys think is the best controller configuration for No$GBA and I assume other NDS emulators aswell.

Reason I ask is because I've been playing Metroid Prime Hunters and the current controls im using just dont work all that great with it, pointing with mouse and moving around with arrows makes it very hard to shoot at things etc. Any ideas would be great.

    PS. First post ;)

I'd imagine an FPS setup for the FPS games would be best. WASD for the directions. and your mouse controlling the stylus. Maybe Q and E for the L and R buttons.

If I remember correctly, the FPS setup is usually the arrows or the buttons do the same thing, to accommodate south paws. Same with the L and R buttons.

Why don't you use Joystick instead?

I haven't seen a reliable way to control the Stylus in an emulator using the joypad. Is there?

The FPS setup sounds logical, I dont really play many FPS games thats all. I might have to try it out, also I don't have a joystick.

I'm sure you can control it using the Analog.

    EDIT :
Since you don't have a Joystick.
Try Tirith suggestion, it looks pretty easy.

Depending on what the L/R button does in game, you might actually set it to Space so that you can easily and quickly hit it with your Thumb while your fingers are still on WASD for movement.

Yea I think ill set the space bar to whatever button shoots, and work the rest out from there.
