For some freaking reason , when I turn on my slow, old PC it either:

Says: WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM IS MISSING OR CORRUPT OR :(

When Windows is loading at the welcome screen to the point where you see the desktop and slightly beyond that is when the screen blacks out and stays like that. Sometimes it restarts, other times it just stays like that. And the PC stops loading things/making the loading sound in the CPU

I justed NUKED my Hard Drive. ask for more information if you need it!

dont rely on that program, its a reasonable guideline but its not infallible.

Theres no need to take the piss out of the guy-I got a warning for doing that to Hypnos.

He could try running chkdsk and/or bootup with his OS repair disc.

chkdisk or norton disk doctor might find problems, but honestly if it were me I'd be backing up and replacing the disk.

If your hard drive is making click sounds it's probably dying.

Might even be a virus messing with you, have you thought of that?

90% of computer problems stem from Virus' and Malware. There is a good chance that it is just a virus that tricks your computer into thinking it is damaged.
