maybe something wrong with your CPU connection.
    check your HDD connection.
and also determine whether your master/slave slot is in the right place or not..

check the hard disk cable, if thats intact then your hard disk has probably died. Try moving it onto the secondary channel just to be sure.

it will be unless something has been changed.

or maybe there's something wrong with your IDE cable..
    Umm,
    I forgot to ask,
what are the differences between SATA and PATA?
Each of it have different type of cable...

PATA is a parallel interface using 40 pin connectors and ribbon cables, it's also known as IDE/EIDE/ATA. SATA is a serial interface using a 7 pin connector.

    Oh yeah,
can I ask it here?my motherboard occasionally making the sound *beeb*beep* while I'm playing games...what's the problem?

how do you know its from your motherboard?

    quite possibly the CPU overheating.

Because the loud noise come from my CPU which is next to where I'm sitting now.

I've just using it for 2-3 hours..
but the problem(sometimes) fixed after I turn off the computer and rest it for 1 minutes and then turn it back...

i mean there is many things inside your cpu

Maybe the chip or graphic card make those noise..
    but,it can't be..

it would be the pc speaker on the motherboard. intermittent beeping during use is normally overheating.

Do we have the option to change the beeping sound....?

    Loonylion Administrator Staff Member

    no, its bios controlled.

maybe we can change it from bios?(the F1)

  18. Loonylion

    Loonylion Administrator Staff Member

nope, all you can possibly change is the CPU temperature that triggers it.

maybe that sound is to notify there are conflict between the hardware?or software?
because my graphic card is for 32-bit while my motherboard is 64-bit...

I know this is way off the OP's question but related to the Topic Title...

What are the cons of using a 64-bit system?
