Computer Linking stopped working (hotlinking problem?)

I am not sure the name of it but I think it called hotlinking. Basically wherever I am, in a game or in any messenger or even here if somebody sends me a link it will not activate when I click it. I end up having to copy and paste.

I have been fine copy pasting except recently I started a game that required hotlinking to work to play so yeah..I need to fix it, of course I would use google if I knew the correct term for my problem so I came here ^^.

I am sure I just messed some setting somewhere up and it just needs a quick fix.

I am using Vista x64.
I have no violent firewall or anti virus software running that would mess with it ether.

PS- Obviously it works on the internet xD or I would not be here.
