Communication Error!

    I've been getting on nearly every ROM I play, not all, a communication error when trying to use the single-card download play features. I am using a Supercard DS ONE with the newest firmware.

    For example:

    Call Of Duty 4 ROM
    Need For Speed Pro Street ROM
    Burnout Legends ROM
    Mario Party DS ROM
    Mario & Sonic at the Olympics (ENG) ROM :)
    And occasionally Bomberman Land Touch!

    No, it's not just my DS. We've tried my super card in other DSs and it hasn't worked much better. I think the problem would be in the ROMs themselves? Is there anything I could do?

    There is no problem with the roms. If anything it would be your supercard (maybe firmware related)

    But, not all games have this error. And for example bomberman, gets in on occasion... I downloaded the newest firmware for my supercard... should I downgrade or something?

    the supercard may not support download play on some roms but does on others, and bomberman could just be a poor connection between the DSes. Also trimming roms has been known to break download play.

    It's your super card, download play simply doesn't work for a lot of games with super card. I've confirmed that download play works with at least one of those games on my DS using CycloDS Evolution cart.

    So my supercard just doesn't support download play for most games? Or is it just that I need to change something? Does this mean that I can't play single-card download play games? Because that's nearly all I download.

    ^you can still play them you just cant play multiplayer via download and play. And all of those above games work fine with download and play on my R4, even trimmed.

    Supercard does work with DL play just not well with certain games.

    I have played my g-friends brother all the time with COD4 and Contra 4.

    We all have SCDS One Firmware 1.01, which does come preinstalled with the newer HCSD cards.

    Mario Kart will not work with DS DL play. I could not get Mario Party to work with it, but I know it does work with M3 DS Simply.

    This card just doesn't flawlessly with DL play. I sold mine and I'm gonna get an M3 Real with the GBA bundle. ;)

    Well, there's no way I can sell mine. But is there anything I can do? Like could I mod in any way my own card?

    Found out the problem. I was looking up the problem and it's not just supercard that gets this problem. According to what I've been reading, other cards get this error, only that supercard gets it more. The thing is that you don't need to switch cards or anything. The problem has nothing to do with the "sending" DS. The problem is with the "recieving" DS. The one downloading. Basically, if the "recieving" DS is flashed, regardless if the "sending" DS is, it'll work.
