Anyone remember the Commodore Vic 20 which came out in the early 80's. It was the first computer I ever bought with a massive memory of 2.5 k. Apparantly, it was the first computer that sold over 1 million units. Doing a search, it appears that luckyphill also bough the vic 20. Good on yer Phill. I recall that I was in the market for a computer and my boss suggested I buy a computer that plays games and that's what the vic 20 was, and one of the first games I played on this machine was jelly monsters, which evolved into pacman. In my humble opinion, no pacman style game has ever come up to the standard of jelly monsters. Me and my two daughters were addicted to this game for some time.
A friend of mine dug some Vic 20 cartridges out of his basement but no system to play them on. lord knows how he acquired them.
Many reasons-prehaps the house wasn't his originally and last owner left them. I'd hold onto them ...so jelly man evolved into pac man eh? I thought the arcade got him first-this had caught my attention
I say they was his at some time, or he got it in a box of stuff. He goes to a lot of auctions in his area and comes back with all kinds of things, some useful, a lot useful to someone else.
