I just recently got interested in video game cliches and i wanna know more! Can you guys help me out?

    Double Jump
    [IMG]
First seen in the game, Dragon Buster, the double jump is a technique used to reach certain platforms normally not worth reaching. This feature has been in video games for a very long time and it's legacy will keep going...

The "noclip". Made by Valve and ruined Counter Strike ever since.

Don't forget "That one boss you're not suppose to defeat"
Doesn't matter even if you cheat.
    You will lose anyway.

"Mommy, why didn't they just use a Phoenix Down on Aeris?"
Don't expect battle mechanics to carry over into the "real world."

    LOL.

    The Best-Laid Schemes
The final villain's grand scheme will have involved the deaths of thousands or even millions of innocent people, the clever manipulation of governments, armies, and entire populations, and will have taken anywhere from five to five thousand years to come to fruition. The hero will come up with a method of undoing this plan forever in less than five minutes.

    XD So true.

    Boss Comebacks
When you defeat that S.O.B. once and later in the game, that mf comes for more...
so much for all that hard work.

Law of NPC Relativity (Magus Rule)
Characters can accomplish superhuman physical feats, defeat enemies with one hand tied behind their back and use incredible abilities -- until they join your party and you can control them. Then these wonderful powers all vanish, along with most of their hit points.

How many times have we experienced this in a RPG game ? ::)

It is up to you to save the world. No one else can do it.
Only you, an average person from out of the blue, can save the world from chaos.
    You are the chosen one.
Without you the world will fall into darkness
    You have nothing to lose
    The prophecy must be fulfilled.

No powers or abilities? No problem!
we'll slowly give them to you on your journey instead of all at once.

Main character mostly have a sword as main weapon.

The game prevents you from going to places out of order by putting very tough enemies in the way.
    I really hate this one.
