So my DS lite is all covered up in gunk in its corners and crannies. Anybody know if the only way is to take apart the casing itself. If so, where can I get the Screwdrivers that Nintendo greedily keeps here in Malaysia (Penang)
dealextreme.com sells the Tri-tip style screwdrivers for the DS and Wii consoles. But, Instead of taking apart the DS to clean the case, I would just use a nice cloth, like the one you use for cleaning eye glasses and some Isopropyl alcohol. Use something small like a toothpick to scrape the seems of the case out
You can pick one up from amazon for about $5 after shipping, or, you can use the above suggested. Of course, if the dirt is pretty far up into the casing (visible on top of the DS), you'll need to get that piece off to clean it.
