Civilization II on emulator problem

Sorry if there is already a thread for this, i'm just so tired for looking for it.

I tried playing civ II in a emulator, it works fine until you are about to play it. I burned it in a cd and played it using a ps2 console and it worked fined, but when i tried playing it in a emulator, you cannot see the initial settler, only the arrow where you want it to go, even the map doesnt let you see your current location. i tried making the city and it worked, and you can see the options inside the city but when you go back to the map, it still doesnt work.

is the problem with the plugins? or something else? other games works fine.

 

It is likely a configuration (plugin) problem with your emulator.

What emulator are you using, What version, and what plugins?

 

ePSXe 1.7.0, scph1001, peted3d, ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0, ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0, I use a ps controller.

so, anything wrong with my config? cause it works in most games, but not to Civ II
