Chrono Trigger troubles

hi im a noob so go easy
chrono trigger wony allow me to go past initialising memory save screen
im using a ds one super card with latest firmware
and iv also tried the patch and no joy
any ideas?

Add the codes found in Almos topic in Tutorials yourself. Or just use the database which has (U) and (J) codes (confirmed by Narin) from http://cheats.gbatemp.net/.

Since you have the same problem as me (I also have the DS ONE SC)

-Press X when you have the rom selected, and press "Set Patch"
-Uncheck 'Patch Saver'


But watch out, I don't know why,
Sometimes, saving will not work, you will play for 4 hours and realize, the next time you boot,
that your save file is 3 days old...

I am using a R4DS, and cannot get the game to start. It keeps giving me the following message:

"Unable to access data. Please turn the power OFF and reinsert the Game Card"

This message appears after I have selected Chrono Trigger, and is done with a gray background.

I am also quite the noob, so I could use some help too please

mine is now wrking using "LeGourmand's" technique although i have now turned the save patch back on and it still works fine thanks mate

Use the cheat database from http://www.gbatemp.net/. And download the usrcheat.dat and overwrite the default one in _system_. Or see my How to Add Cheats to R4 topic in Tutorials. The link is probably broken, so just google it obviously.
