Chrono Trigger help, help with queen.

Hey guys, I'm using the m3 simply ds, and i cant seem to able to find the queen in 600 A.D. I played the organ, which is supposed to open up a secret room which didn't happen. Ive also couldn't get past the portal until i found a save file that's past the portal. Ive used the cheat codes, patched it up, etc. Ive also heard that they aren't making anymore firmwares for the m3simplyds? can anyone confirm it?

yea, i put the cheat.dat, usercheat.dat in the systems folder and its still not working. also used the program but the file wouldnt load and would stick on a blank white screen.

 

The USRCHEAT.DAT should work in your system folder. Reinstall your firmware and redownload the database and put it back on it.

 

ive done that, umm what do you mean by database? and could it be that im doing something wrong with the patching? im using the one program that auto enables the cheats and it still wont load..

 

Database is the .dat or .xml file.. If you've already used the patch, why have you gone to the cheat database file? They will interfere with each other for sure.

This PPF patch has worked on my M3 Simply, no problems at all..

 

so must i delete the cheat file to make it work?

 

Delete it, and then redownload the database from gbatemp, or add them yourself.
