I downloaded Chrono Trigger (USA) from a link in one of the pinned threads here. When I try to load the game up I get a white screen, though. I'm guessing it's a form of AP but it's strange that it won't load since I use Wood R4 1.20 on an R4 Original. Is there a patch for the game?
Make sure you downloaded the clean rom, and not a patched rom. The chrono trigger AP only shows up during key events, and causes an infinite loops (like when going through time portals). You can play through the entire fair without any problems. It does not cause a white screen on loading. But if you try to use the pre-patched rom on cards with firmware that already bypasses the AP, you may get a white screen.
If the problem persists, try two things before the third: - Disable soft reset - Turn off/disable all cheats - If those fail, back up and format placing on fresh firmware files after
