    It's not the game-it's on your end.

    -Using latest firmware?
    -Have you considered that it may have anti piracy protection-a patch might help
    -Read the common issues thread?

    I've given up trying to get A Christmas Carol to work on a R4 sdhc card with version 1.26.

    It either has problems with the save file, or, if I fix the arm7.bin I get sound with a black screen.

    If anyone has got any suggestions I would love to know. I have it working successfully on an R4i SDHC though.

    I far as i know the ysmenu should work with M3 cards as the

    YSMenu Generator for R4 M3 Simply Clones v1.5.1
