Satanism is a branch of paganism, not the oldest by any means. As far as I know they don't consider catholicism a hoax. I don't know much about Satanism, but paganism in general is MUCH older than christianity, and although christians harp on about pagans being heretics etc, its interesting to note that a lot of christian traditions were actually nicked from paganism in its many forms.

  4. Well, yeah i believe that. paganism is true, but considering the fact that in some satanist sites many of which says that Christianity is a lie, based on the site i posted it states how Christianity is a lie. wew

Also remember that paganism isn't really a religion itself, more of an umbrella term for many religions (wicca, satanism, druidism, shamanism to name a few).

  6. yeah, but that doesn't seem to answer my question is it or is it not true that satanism mocks the catholic faith? why post stuff that says how satanist's past is systematically being destroyed to keep the lie of Christianity going? is christianity really a lie?

satanism is stupid and most of the people who practice it don't even know what the hell they are talking about.
as far as my understanding goes (i don't really want to know about it) its not about worship the devil its about being an anti-Christ

and yes Christianity is a lie but if you have faith keep it just don't be a moron

  8. @ equitypetey, what makes you think that christianity is a lie?

@ loony, you told me that satanist doesn't consider christianity a hoax but why would they say that: based on the site about satanists, i've read that: "The Judeo/Christian religion is a vicious hoax on humanity of catastrophic proportions. For a hoax to succeed there has to be a lack of knowledge on the part of the victim. The Christian religion and its cohorts actively suppress knowledge and free thought, encourage people to be slaves, and never advocate or teach anything for the betterment or advancement of humanity."

I said as far as I know they don't. I could be wrong, but equally so could the site in question. To my knowledge satanism is mainly about living the high life (drinking/partying etc).

Yep, they (catholics) did it even to galileo, whose only theorizing about the universe and then he got into jail.
What does christianity do to the advancement of the world? They opposed to many scientific works, birth control, and suppresed the people for hundreds of years (inquisition).

A good book on scientific facts about Christianity is "The Signature Of God" by Grant Jeffries.

I was raised Catholic, but then I got a brain...now I'm Christian. Catholics pray to Mary and the saints, when Jesus says right there in black & white to pray ONLY to The Father, and also not to make your prayers repetitive, i.e. the rosary. Priests are not allowed to marry, while the Bible says nothing about this being forbidden. Other stuff too... read the book.

Priest marriege until it was banned in the 1890's . Bible:God threatens to kill the Pharaoh's firstborn son. Exodus -4:23 If you make God angry enough, he will kill you and your family with his own sword. 22:24 - exodus # Get some animals, kill them, chop up their bodies, wave body parts in the air, burn the carcasses, and sprinkle the blood all around -- in precisely the way God tells you. It may well make you sick, but it makes God feel good. 29:11-37 - exodus

After God has sufficiently hardened the Pharaoh's heart, he kills all the firstborn Egyptian children. When he was finished "there was not a house where there was not one dead." Finally, he runs out of little babies to kill, so he slaughters the firstborn cattle, too. 12:29 - exodus
is this not forbidden? this one directly contradicts what commandments was said lokiden.

So what? Pharoah should have listened. God killed a lot of people. He told David to wipe out entire tribes, women and children too.
That's God's judgements, and if Pharoah would have listened to the prior judgements of God, it wouldn't have come to that.

  14. think again dude, maybe they did, maybe they didn't so now, are you saying that galileo is a satanist? that the catholic faith rejected him because they think he's crazy? well maybe you're right. but is the catholic church God? are they jesus christ? they are just people acting superior, they think they know better, they are just people who believe they are the most high, well some of the superior are right, some are wrong we are just human you know, we all make mistakes.

But it's his laws. Thou shall not kill. very simple. Though. Shall. Not. If he is strong and firm, why can't he not comply in his own laws? a RESPONSIBLE LEADER SHOULD AND ALWAYS SHOW TO HIS MEMBERS what is the law and how to obey it, Not teach them how to DISOBEY it. How can people follow the law if even the leader disobeys his own law?

What you have to realize about the whole Galileo situation was that it happened during the Renaissance, when the church still had a lot of power and influence. I realize that some people believe what they did was wrong, but honestly, when given power, who wouldn't let it go to their head? And you can't honestly blame the Church for taking the bible too seriously back then. Humans have made lots of mistakes throughout time, and for you to say that Catholicism is so bad based on things such as the Inquisition, you are sorely mistaken. I'm Catholic, and I don't follow it because I have to or am forced to, but because I want to. And, okay, because my parents would go nuts, but yeah. xD

And anyways, back to Galileo, it all happened in the 1600's, when people were still ignorant to the world. They'd believed in one thing for so long, that when Galileo presented his ideas, of course they're going to think he's nuts. The same thing still happens today. If I were to say that computers are evil and are totally waiting for the day when mankind is weak enough for them to take over (lame analogy, I know, but I can't think of anything xD), then of course you're going to think I'm loony. You can't just prejudice a whole religion because of something like that. >>

  17. these are hyperboles, some statements that are exaggerated. for
example:I could sleep for a year. (I could sleep for a long time.) but for some, it may be true. the pharaoh was warned and he did not commit, he was abusing the people and it must be stopped. some most likely say that killing something for the gods is like offering it to them, a lot of religions or tribes does these kinds of rituals. think again

    Okay, but's how's this?
    Exodus
    # But God wasn't satisfied with the slaughter of the 3000, so he killed some more people with a plague. 32:35

    # If you can't redeem him, then just "break his neck." Hey, it's all for the glory of God. 34:20

Ye didn't answer my question. What does catholiscm do to advance the human civilization? What do they do for the past thousands of years to the betterment of society?. Ask me and I'll answer fear.
