This is the new Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars on the PSP. I expected a bit more than that more; I mean, it's the PSP, and it should have the graphics like liberty city stories, though as you can see the graphics are brought up a notch. But then again, Chinatown Wars was unique, and a good unique, in like how it was all set out. But the PSP doesn't have somethings that made the DS version quite fun like throwing molotovs, car jacking etc but then again, there are different ways on the PSP. Still, I was hoping that it would be in proper 3d coz it would be pretty cool to see how the DS version would transfer. What do u think?
...personally this could be moved to gaming lounge. The ds one is unique-this is just an desperate effort to re-build lost sales from us... The game's sale expectation fell below the target they set-so that's a bad thing. Rock star ain't making anymore GTA's for nintendo anymore now that's 3 that failed-gc, gba, ds, all failed... No wii for us now
Wrong-a user here had a 3000-I taught him how to get cfw enabler working on it with HEN and now he's happy
yes with the right settings. And an "ISO" folder in root of memory card. But can't use m33 driver-need to use built in sony one which works fine... But I suggest waiting for a bit-it may have a higher firmware requirement-and unless you know hex editing (like how they bypassed soul caliber's 5.55 requirement) then a new method is needed.
Look at my tutorial-I linked it to an idiot proof method-just install that as it ask, and make an iso file... But for newer games-best wait for new CFW/CFW enabler.
We know-and your one of many why it's having a psp version. Lack of sales because we kept downloading it. I'm gonna buy it for my brother-prehaps they might make a wii one if my sale helps
Their target (which wasn't much) was 250,000 overtime... They made 192,000 after 8 months of it being release last time I checked... it's too late now if a psp version is coming
And with some changes as no touch screen controls-how to play those mini games I have no clue...joy stick? It's for sales really. The ds version was a test to see if it's worth making more nintendo gta games-like how resident evil umbrella chronicles was (if that sold more we may have got resident evil 5 on wii-too bad eh )
joy stick is for moving. you have to hold down a button as long as you want which will increase the distance of what you're throwing, like molotovs, grenades etc
I expected that-like the last tenchu game that has a wii version and a psp version-I wondered hth would it work until Im played the psp version. ...nothing special really-the ds touch screen made's it more interesting...now it's a cheap cash in.
I've played GTA Chinatown Wars on the DS. It went back to the basics in my opinion, and I dont like it.
