Hello, I have an R4i ultra, and I noticed it can't find most cheats. when I went to a game loaded with the AK menu, it found cheats that the R4 menu couldnt find.
I would just play on the AK menu but it only succefully loads the game 2% of the time...

can I alter the huge cheats file somehow that my R4 menu can read them all?

 

Try deleting entries from the database of games that you aren't playing, using an editor such as R4CCE by Yasu.

Try to remove all cheats that you don't use
and then see of your r4 shows the cheats for the games on the r4

Then i have a question for you you are using a R4I ultyra (just like me )

is your card a R4I ultra RTS and do you use the V2.2 kernel from: http://r4rts.cn

if it iscan you play dragon ball Z attack of the saiyans past chapter 6?

Hm, it still doesn't work. I downloaded the R4CCE and changed the CHEAT.DAT file to very much smaller size by deleting a lot of games, but my R4 ultra still cant find the cheats that the AK menu can find.

 

Try to rename the cheat.dat file to USRCHEAT.dat
and that will solve your problem I think

Some R4 need the USRCHEAT.dat file in order to work just like mine

Hmm, now when I click Y or cheats on a ROM, nothing happens.

 

Did you remember to put USRCHEAT.DAT into system32 folder?

Alternate firmwares only load the ROMs 3% of the time, so I'll try to move those cheats to the list, and put USRCHEAT.DAT on the root of the card?

Okay lonelycatz, Download R4CCE from Yasu's website. Get the cheat database from gbatemp, read the stuff above and put it in your system folder. Remember to rename it to USRCHEAT.DAT

Did you put the USRCHEAT.DAT in your systemfolder?
did you use R4cce?
Have you removed the cheats you do not use?

You are Right I'll try to explain Why because the R4I ultra is the only one who has
this problem:::

You must do Exactly what say below here because if you do not the cheats won't work!!!!!

When you press (Y) you will see your cheats but you cannot select then until
You tick 2 boxen on in your touch screen:

Game DISABLE must be on and the box next to it Cheat ENABLE must be on
when you tick these boxes on you can choose which cheat you want to use

then tick Save and exit on and the cheat setting will be saved

but
as far as I know are there no cheats for harvest moon sunshine islands yet
it takes a while when the game is released before there are cheats

You can ask someone to create them when you have them you can put them on
