Cheats Don't Display On Flashcart

I have a terrible flashcart, the R4 and have read the common issues forum topic and didnt understand this part:

Just use R4CCE by Yasu to modify and delete entries out of the database. This should allow those cheats you want to enable, show on the firmware of your flashcart. Or, you can patch the R4DS kernel using r4bugfix2, which fixes the flaw.

1. i did not understand the bugfix2 part because when I use the R4bugfix2 program it says file is not NDS file

2. The IDs of the games are the same but do not display still (my cheat file is 2.45 MB)

 

well download from the lastest game cheat file ....it should work xd...........or you could format you sd card and put the files back ...make sure you use the unofficial firmware for the games XD..cause a normal one can t read the cheats

 

With r4bugfix2 you need to patch the _DS_MENU.DAT file. Don't worry about the GameIDs, you need to just remove game entries out of the database.

 

there is a problem with that the r4bugfix2 says no boot block found when i use it, any ideas?

 

lol download firmwaree 1.23 with YSmenu and try to download another cheat.dat cause mine also happen last time

 

Try using R4Custom instead. http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds/

The R4Custom performs the same fix as r4bugfix2 would do, with additional tools.

 

I have found ysmenu and currently use that to boot games but when i installed it my cheat database stopped working what could be the problem. By the way when i couldnt boot games from ysmenu the cheat database worked fine. But now its fixed it doesnt work.

 

Reinsert your microsd into the card, and try again, somethines works for me

r4 custom did not change anything in my R4 III. am i doing anything wrong or is it jut the r4?

 

Please put it down to an R4III if you say R4DS we tend to think its a original
