Cheat turned into a Glitch- is it fixable?

Hi I was running Pokemon Heart Gold on my r4 when one of my favorite working cheats decided to glitch my game by making my screen freeze black when ever I encountered a wild pokemon or a trainer battle. It is called Instant Catch and basically cuts the waiting time between throwing the ball to where you name the pokemon. i am going to try reloading the cheats now to see if that has anything to do with it but if it doesn't work i wish that you viewers would have a ready response for me so I can try to fix this problem right away.

Are you using too many cheats? That might affect the game
Are you suppose to be catching pokemon yet?

 

I might be using too many cheats---- but yes I am allowed to catch pokemon where I am in the game (just caught snorlax in Kanto)
