Charging iPod

    OK so I have Hama usb-socket, iPod touch and its cable... But I cant charge it? The seller said I should but... What am I missing?

    generally USB charging needs to be enabled on the device before it can be used.

    Have you had the ipod long?


    I couldn't remeber-but the new one seemed to charge via official usb as soon as I did it...wether or not I enabled it not sure.


    I know disc storage mode needs it to use an ipod as a hard drive...but not sure with the other option.
