hi, i want to ask somethimg. i have a psp 2000 slim with custom firmware 5.00 M33-6, that works great and can play every game (because almost every game is uploaded and tested in 5.00 M33-6 firmware ). my question is, what cfw in psp 3000 brite that equal with the 5.00 M33-6 on psp slim? that can also play all games that works and tested on 5.00 M33-6 psp slim? thank youuu...
I say the 2000 ones you have is better. And I suggest you update it to 5.50 Gen-D3, the latest one so far for it. For the 3000 though, there is only 5.03 Gen-C semi-hacked, it can play most newer games though some of the newer games maybe need to be patched. It's more risky since if you fully brick it then there's no way to fix it.
thanks galih.. but for the psp 3000, is 5.03 Gen-C semi-hacked is the best cfw nowadays? compare to 5.00 M33-6 on slim?
No it is not at all. It's just a temporary hack and it is no better at playing ISOs than M33 or 5.50 Prometheus.
And you have to be wary of some 2000s. Some of them are the later models with the later motherboards which can't be fully-hacked. use PSP-Ident to check your motherboard and To check.
how do i check the motherboard? in system information only available the firmware version and mac address or something like that i forgot...
If your PSP 2000 already has 5.00 M33-6 on it, then it's a hackable version. You can just upgrade to Gen-D3 fairly simply. To find out the motherboard, I believe you can run the homebrew PSPIdent, which should tell you. Or you can take the model number and date code on them and find a cross reference online that will let you know what it is based on when it was made.
