It all depends on the firmware your PSP has now (I assume you're talking about the PSP) and the model type. If you gave us those that would be helpful.
well from what ive learned CFW is needing a pandora battery or a helpful link i have just discovered if your on PSP 1000 Model is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nL7ToOp_nTY&feature=related And learing also in my past week that when using a tool called PSPGrader it will create a magic memory stick upon which also a ISO folder will be created on the root and in this folder is where all ISOS and CSOs Go . Homebrews and PS1 games go into the GAME Folder with the pbp file is it? and plugins go into the seplugins or sumtin folder. anymore help just ask.
When you format the memstick, the folders are already there. Even if you don't have CFW. Here's a little tutorial I made a while back for 1000s and early 2000s.
Yeah. I know. I haven't updated that in a while. I just installed the latest Prometheus on a PSP I built today. Didn't want the UMD drive in there. It's lighter than it would be with it in. Plus, my brother doesn't need it cause he doesn't have any PSP games other than what I dump. Here's the latest Prometheus module. http://pspslimhacks.com/unofficial-cfw-5-50-prometheus-4-5-03-prometheus-4-released/
