Casual/party games recommendations

    Can anyone recommend any games to pass the time? I'm referring to what I think are called "party" or "casual" games, such as Scrabble. I usually play RPGs and strategy things, so I'm rather ignorant of this section of the DS library.

    Taiko no Tatsujin!

    its a japanese game and you dont even need to know any japanese to play it.

    groh: I already gave Mario Kart a try, and didn't like either of them. It's fun when you have people to play with, but the only game my cousins play is Pokemon.
    Thanks for the suggestion, though.

    calvin: Is it somewhat like a rhythm game [I'm looking at the screenshots for it, so I might be wrong]? If so, I was thinking something along the lines of Puzzle Bobble or Puyo Pop Fever [both which I just discovered; I'm manually going through the DS library].
