Card slot problems

    Bothe the caed slots are not working i my sons DSI.
    we have a acerkard in that ws working fine , but for some reason it does not seem to show up when tunrned on just a message saying no card in slot.

    also found out that the SDcard in the side slot is doing the same. i have formatted the SD card in the side slot, still no good,

    Formatted the acerkard sd also and reloaded still no joy ,
    is the unit scrap or can it be fixed etc.

    I do not understand what you said...something about card slot?


    But I will advise-have you updated the dsi's firmware lately?

    If it went online to the shop then that's the problem.


    1.4-if the dsi says tha there you go.


    It blocks flash cards-not sure but downloading new acekard firmware may be able to overcome that.

    Acekard2i does have a 1.4 fix, but if your DSi is already at 1.4, you need to find a DS/DSLite or a pre-1.4 DSi to load the new firmware.
