I just downloaded Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings and when it started it this shows up:

    Unable to read data.
    Turn power off and reinsert
    the Game Card.

Can someone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it? ???

what are you using? it would be easier to help you if we knew what you were using to play the rom on.

    Oh, right woops. ;)

Well, my box says R4 and my little USB thing says micro SD 2.0.

As you can see I am totally clueless about this. :-[

I'm not very R4 knowledgeable so you're going to have to dumb it down for me. :-[

How would I know if I have the latest firmware and if I don't how do I get it?

K turn on your DS with the R4 in it, on the first screen in the bottom left corner it will tell you the version, 1.12 is the latest but I have it running fine on 1.11

you can get updated firmware from here

Go there and click on R4 DS (Latest: v1.12)

    Download this R4_English_v1.12.rar

Install it to the route of your micro sd card

The first thing on the list is for the M3 DS Simply. They have firmware updates for pretty much every card.
