can't save games on acekard 2

hey, i just got my acekard 2 from deal extreme, but after i tried some games, i found out that some games dont work and i can't save any data for any of the games that do work, it just freezes trying to save. Help me please

 

What firmware are you using? Which games does this occur on?

 

im using acekard official firmware 4.21
Games that can't Save: jump ultimate stars, mario and luigi bowser's inside story, the world ends with you, megaman starforce 3: black ace
Games that can't start: the legend of zelda: phantom hourglass, the legend of zelda: spirit tracks, kingdom hearts: 358/2, pokemon mystery dungeon: explorers of sky

 

Use the akaio firmware with recent loaders

those games work fine on it

you might have done the same thing i did which was put the latest loader in the 'akaio loaders' folder when its supposed to go in the 'loaders' folder .HyPnOs told me about it and i changed it and all the games i have work now and the save files work too as before rabbids go home wouldnt work and zelda st didnt create a save file for me and i had to keep starting from the beginning every time i turned my dsi on.

 

I had a simialr issue and no suggested fix from any of the forums or support resolved it. My resolution that finally worked was to format it using the Panasonic Formater then I installed AKAIO 1.2 from http://filetrip.net/f2784-AKAIO-1-2.html
Once 1.2 was installed I updated the loaders to current and all of my games worked. No other version was able to save games for me despite having taken a finctional copy of 1.5 from a friends Acekard. Perhaps something to do with the AceKard2.1. Either way I hope this helps for those that have exhausted conventional solutions

 

My AceKard 2.1 just arrived yesterday and I has having the same problem with AKAIO 1.5.1 so I tried the suggestion of khajjah and worked with the 1.2 I was able to save but some games just stay on black screen:

Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Might & Magic - Clash of Heroes

Maybe I’ m installing the loaders the wrong way.
What I did was download the last “ak2loader.nds” and drop it in the “__aio\ak2loader” folder is that the right way to do it?
Or do I have to anything special when I’m in the AKAIO menu?

PS: The version 1.2 dos not have the "loaders" folder and i tried to create one and drop the “ak2loader.nds” ther but with the same result

1.4.1 doesn't load those games clean, you'll have to use the patches if you are using a firmware that old:

Thanks I was able to play GTA enabling the cheat with the fix, this with the version 1.2 because the version 1.4.1 does not start the rom even with the cheat.

 

the loader go on the _aio/loaders folder not _aio/ak2loader, maybe that's what's keeping you from loading these games.

 

how to pick a save do you have make with a game becaus my game don't want pick the save i make plz respond fast

 

Save files are created automatically when you play the games.
Any specific issues, you need to explain better.
