Cant get the downlaoded games to work. why?

I'm new at this
i downloaded Super Smash Bros and Perfect Dark but after extracting them their is no file to play the game
i have tried clickingthe files but they say i it needs to run with a certain program

because these are not computer games. they are for console and handheld depending on which rom you downloaded. you can try using emulator, but depending on which system's rom you downloaded. the emulator quality vary greatly. from playable to non-existence.

if you want to play it fully without problem. you need the mod'ed console or handheld (mod or with flash cart like r4/m3 for DS for example).

 

i have a Nintendo 64 console
so how do i transfer to that so i can play it?
