A work colleague has given me his DSi, as he's bought an R4i card and can't get it to work. I have to say I'm really stumped by this. Even when I insert the R4i with no memory card into the DSi it shows there is a game in the slot "Danny Phantom Urban jungle THQ". When you select, it just says "loading" on the top screen. The same thing happens with the memory card inserted. I have tried loading the R4i software onto the card and it still shows the same. Have tried the card in my DS lite and it just comes up "loading" on the top screen. Have tried formatting the card (it's an 8gb), have even tried a smaller card and the same thing happens. Why would the cartridge show a game is inserted? Could this be a fake card? (Don't know where he got it). Also, I must mention that the DSi console has not been updated to the latest firmware. (I believe there's an issue with flashcarts with firmware 1.4). This DSi has 1.2 firmware.
