Cant get R4 to work

Cant seem to get new games to work on my R4, has there been an update?

you only need a website go to proper websites, there are lots of sources to download r4games.
You have to go through a couple of poll things to get the games but it is worth it the games that i have downloaded all work also you cant play with the ds game card adapter with the dsi it doesn't work.

There hasn't been an update in years, the R4 is dead in that sense. There is the alternate firmware called Ysmenu. There's a tutorial here.

 

As per previous posts, r4 seems dead however there are new versions of the R4 card with different people seemingly running the sites which means different kernels for different variations of the r4 card

Personally i've had some issues with a number of sites selling memory cards, but I know someone who runs a site which is great price. He does have a lot of choice too, obviously down to personal choice but i use uk-memory-cards.co.uk

 

You don't have to buy a new card though. The alternative is to try the other firmware.
