cant get my heartgold to convert to ENG.save file HELP PLS!

    Can someone help me
    i've been trying to get my jap.sav file to play on my usa.sav file
    everyone is saying change the name of my sav.file but it still doesn't work.

    EXCACTLY rename teh Save file:
    HeartGold(U).nds
    HeartGold(U).sav
