I have an NDS lite, using a R4 upgrade revolution 4gb SDHC, on 1.19b kernel

Most games play ok, others crash 5minutes in.....

When i press multimedia it says

"An error was detected while trying to access the disc or a file. Please confirm the following:
Was ROM file of a correct DLDI patch started?
Please re-format the media and try again.
Please try with different media from another manufacturer"

Sorry for being such a Noob but i have no idea what this means....... i downloaded a DLDI patch for the r4ds card and put it on but that has done nothing.

Films and music play on it fine and like i said some games, but I'm guessing games shouldn't be crashing 5 minutes in......

Any help would be brill, thank you
    Solo

    Moonshell always gives that message.

And Moonshell isn't designed to play games, use the 'Games' button for that.

You are running Moonshell 2.00 Stable, right? I've informed the team to include 2.10.

    They are the same.
http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/ - R4 SDHC and R4i SDHC are the same. The only thing is that the R4 SDHC doesn't support DSi.

Do you have the 1.19b kernel?
If so, try disabling DMA (3x B button in games menu and touch DMA)

Enable DMA then, but disable Soft-Reset.

If you use R4 SDHC Upgrade, download from left, if R4i SDHC Upgrade without 1.4 mark, download left.

    Updated the link.

im using a R4 upgrade revolution for ds (SDHC)
i was experiencing similar problems with the newest official software (i know this chip is a clone) but i switched down 3 firmwares and now i can run more games and am experiencing less crashes, although homebrew don't work as well. but everything else works.

    hope this helps
i also noticed that this topic is old but someone else may come here looking for an answer so i am posting this to try and help those who come looking for a suggestion.
